DAY BEFORE EARTHQUAKE IN NEPAL

Hangout with Laura

Introduction of Laura: Beautiful, charming, slim, glamorous Canadian lady. Don't know exact age but she was 30+ years old.

2 day(s) Consequent Meeting with Laura: I was waiting for a local bus at Jamal. Boarded on it at 7pm. Found her accompanied with a guide. That day, just noticed her being in conversation with the Guide; as the talking was so loud due to which my attention got grabbed. 

Next day, at the same time 7 o'clock or li'l bit more or less minutes, again got a stand at Jamal waiting for the local bus to board and got a catch up the same vehicle but with no wish or hope to get to see the tourist lady named Laura. But what a coincidence that I met her in the same bus that is also a seat right beside her. 

The journey was almost for 45 mins or around 1 hr from Jamal to Akashedhara of Kathmandu, Nepal. I was busy reading news portal especially stuffs produced in Times of India about various gadgets and sometimes column that cover Techie stuffs. Usually, I pass my time in bus observing some buzz on Internet which varies based on my mood. 

Certainly, the bus conductor came to ask for bus fare and I started searching my wallet to pay the fare. By that time Laura, stood confusingly and asked conductor if the bus is going to drop her at Ram Mandir that is located nearby Kapan Gumba at Kathmandu, Nepal. It was quite dark, night time according to Nepal's climatic condition. I got hesitated to put my opinion as my stoppage was two-three stoppage ahead of Ram Mandir. Moreover, I was also new at Kapan located at Kathmandu, Nepal. So, I stopped myself to go on a conversation with Laura but I was worried for her seeing that she was misled and without a guide today who was accompanying her the last day.

Few mins across, my stoppage Akashedhara came and I need to walk off my way. So, I get up from my seat and walked. Seeing me, she just asked me, "which place is this?" I replied her, "Akashedhara". Meanwhile, conductor asked her to get down at the same stoppage as the bus won't be heading towards Ram Mandir but the other way towards Banglamukhi, a place located at Kapan.

By the time I left the bus, the bus conductor asked me to help her the way to Ram Mandir which place was unknown to me as I was quite new to the place Kapan and I didn't even explore before. However, I took a step to guide Laura throughout the way to Ram Mandir though I was not sure that whether I can guide her correctly but stride with her and started conversation with her to make her feel safe that she won't be lost as am there with her. Gotta ask the habitats of Akashedhara as they know most of the places of Kapan. Took the guide from locales and we reached nearby Ram Mandir from where Laura recognize her place. 

In between the night walk to Ram Mandir, we gave an introduction with each other and shared some plans and hazardous night due to which she need to take a long strange walk all her way towards Ram Mandir. I gotta knew that she is in a long holiday trip to Nepal, India and other European countries. She was a business woman who faced some losses in her business so, she was on a tour to different parts of world to explore; which was again strange  and a new experience to me! Generally, people like me might have stayed at the same place and tried to retrieve some solution if a business goes to heck. But taking a break from work might also be creative to re-start a business. Thought of mine just changed reading her mind on how to deal with the problems if appear..

Now, it's my turn to be back at home. It was a great turmoil that night. However, I was successful in helping all her way to Ram Mandir but returning back to home was like dark night adventure. The path was totally unknown to me as I took step backward in the hope to reach my home. Asked taxi to drop to my location but he was unwilling to head back to my area as it was nearer in his concept but far on my perception. Also, it was quite late night as peoples in Nepal are back to their inland by 9pm. I tried to find out my location by the very few people who came by sight at night time. Just took 2 hours to be in my room where I took relaxed nap, food and scrolled the pages on facebook about her. 

Sometimes helping seems to be adventurous in my experience from that night. It happened as I put a step forward to explore the new place in a new way in dark night. Oops! I forgot to mention that night was a night before the Earthquake in Nepal. The next day .......
